Greetings!
On May 18th, I took a trip to my alma mater to read a section of “An Orange Dog Named Blue” and speak to the elementary students about what it’s like to be an author. One of the most popular questions was “Are you writing any more books?” When I said “yes,” the students instantly wanted to know what it was called. And they squealed when I told them.
Now, I am happy to announce the title of my second novel: “A Black Cat Named Rose!” This book was inspired by my little black cat, Cindy Lou, and my family's journey as we adopted her. Cindy Lou proudly modeled for the cover, and is very excited to have her beauty shared with the world!
In “A Black Cat Named Rose,” readers meet Rose and an imaginative young girl named Dorothea.
“A Black Cat Named Rose” aims to teach young and young-at-heart audience members alike to love nature. It’s important to Dorothea and me both that the world learns to respect nature and love what nature brings into our lives.
Book cover was made by the ever-talented Caitlin Meleski.
